This wedding was the greatest ending to our 2018 season we ever could have asked for! Not only are Rory and Grace the most fun people to spend an entire day with but they also both have amazing taste!
The day started out very low key. Barnet Fair and Kate Marie Artistry teamed up on Grace’s hair and makeup. Grace then joined Rory at their amazing Airbnb which was conveniently located just around the corner from their venue. The two got ready in separate rooms and kept their first look super casual. Their reactions to seeing each other for the first time in their wedding attire made us all teary eyed. Grace was a stunner in her BHLDN gown and we can't forget how handsome Rory looked is his custom Indochino suit. Papertini killed it, once again, with their floral details! We still dream about Grace’s bouquet.
After the first look, we journeyed out to the El Bar where Rory and Grace first met! In their vows, they BOTH began by joking “When I first met you, I thought you were just a cutie at the bar.” It was the greatest jinx-you-owe-me-a-soda moment we’ve witnessed to date. After the El Bar we hopped across the street to Wm. Mulherin’s Sons where the awesome staff let us utilize their gorgeous restaurant/bar space for more photos.
We then joined Grace and Rory's friends and family back at Down Town Club by Cescaphe for group photos. Rosie the dog (aka Little Dog) made a special appearance and killed us all with cuteness. There were a lot of little Rosie inspired details sprinkled throughout the day, like the cake topper that Grace’s dad sculpted— wait ‘til you see this cake!
Grace’s brother officiated the ceremony under a gorgeous wooden arch beautifully designed by Papertini. Finally, DJ Pat Pharari got the party started and kept guests dancing and singing (KARAOKE) all night! What a great day =)
