You’re engaged! An engagement session is a perfect way to celebrate the excitement. Engagement sessions last about an hour (or a bit longer). Some couples like to use an engagement session to get used to being photographed before their wedding day. Others want some beautiful photos for their save the dates.

The Right Location for You

We don’t have specific locations we prefer to shoot at for engagement sessions or couples sessions, we want you to choose the right spot for you. We’ve photographed sessions at parks, in cities, at the beach, and even start some in our couples favorite restaurants, or coffee shops. There’s no wrong location.

Choose a spot that means something to you, or one you just find beautiful!

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • Ideally we will start shooting about 1 ½ - 2 hours before sunset. This gives us the best possible light for your shoot.

  • If it’s raining, thunderstorms, heavy winds etc., we typically recommend rescheduling your session.

    Especially for engagement sessions. You can’t choose the weather on your wedding day, so you may as well choose some better weather for your engagement session.

  • Whatever you like! We suggest not wearing anything to matchy matchy or super busy busy patterns.

  • We typically deliver between 100 - 200 photos from an engagement or couples session.

  • Sure! This sometimes depends on location and if there’s somewhere to change.

    If you are bringing an outfit change, we recommend sticking to 1. Multiple outfits can take away time from you shoot.

  • Sure! The locations should be close to each other so travel doesn’t eat away at your session time. Usually a short walk where we can shoot along the away, or a short 5 minute drive.

  • We typically deliver engagement and couples sessions in about 2 - 4 weeks.
