From the planning process to our engagement shoot and the wedding day itself, they were truly incredible to work with. They are incredibly creative, always finding the best light, and they captured the most beautiful detail shots. They made us feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera, and it absolutely shows in the final product.
We were a bit nervous about being the center of attention, but they put us completely at ease from start to finish. We had the best experience with Zach and Sam, and would highly recommend them as photographers for your wedding or any special occasion. Zach and Sam are professional, reliable, quick and clear in communication, but also warm, friendly, funny, and fun to be around. Your wedding photographer is by your side all day, so you want to make sure they're great to be around - honestly, Zach and Sam felt like old friends. Zach even tied my husbands tie. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the day - they posed us in all types of ways, but also let us just be us and have fun. They took us all around for pictures, but also made it super easy and nearby - so we got good variety of different types of shots. Even better - we got a sneak peek of photos literally 2 days after the wedding. Even our coordinator said that is insanely fast, and the pictures are absolutely stunning and bright and happy and joyful. They captured the energy of the day perfectly. Definitely hire Zach and Sam!

We feel so lucky to have worked with Sam and Zach for our wedding day! Both my wife and I have worked in the wedding industry, so we know exactly what it looks like behind the scenes. We were very picky when it came to photo/video, and originally found Peaberry through our venue, the Willows. We first connected with them on a video call, and after booking they were gracious enough to travel down to MD for our engagement session!
Sam and Zach are so much fun to have on your team, and truly act the way photographers should - as your personal hype squad! After our engagement session, they took our feedback seriously and made us feel heard.
I absolutely love Peaberry's editing style. Having been a photographer/videographer myself, the colors and tones and composition were all important to me. Every time I look at our engagement or wedding photos, their colors make me swoon! It was a huge bonus that their flat lay skills are fire. We had so many small details, and Sam made them POP! I could look at just our flat lays forever.
I'm sure you've heard that "your photos are one of the only things that will last" from your wedding, but it's not just in physical/digital form. The feelings you have around your vendor team is a big part of how you'll remember your day. WOW! If we could capitalize that three-letter word over and over again - it still would not be enough to voice how impressive these two are at what they do!
From the initial interview to see if they were the ~right fit~, they put us at ease, made us feel heard, and we immediately knew they were perfect for our intimate ceremony. The booking process was easy. They are both so flexible and easy going which helped as I was still organizing many of the plans at the time of booking and did not know exactly the vision!
It is a true art to be able to capture a feeling in a photo. I can hear our belly laughs. I can feel the warmth of my dad's smile in his toast. I can hear my brother's chuckle as he handed us the puffed rice. I can even feel my mother's love in each glance we secretly made to one another during the ceremony. I can see the true peace in my grandparents' eyes as they witnessed this moment and approved of our union and ceremony. The fact that two people can capture all of THAT in photos is chef's kiss.
My husband and I fell in love with different photos for different reasons which makes our collection all the more special. They captured many raw, pure moments but also gave us just enough guidance and coaching to help two novices become 'models'!
