WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Getting Married?!

Congratulations! It’s one of the most exciting times in your life! We know it can also be a daunting task finding each vendor that fits your style, especially your photographer. We know this because we’ve planned our own wedding and collectively photographed over 500 weddings.

We’ve learned a lot throughout all of the weddings. One of the most important things we’ve learned, is how important it is to feel present on your wedding day. This is why we take the time to learn about you (and your pets) and wedding plans.

Our style lends itself to couples who are looking for a mix of candid, posed photos, and what we call posed candids. Posed candids are when we give you a prompt to get some natural reactions out of each other. The rest of the day we capture everything as unobtrusively as possible.

Getting to know you.

We start with a discovery call. This call usually lasts between 20 - 30 minutes. We’ll learn about your past, how you met, how you got engaged, what you like to do together, and of course what your wedding plans are.

During this call you’ll also get to know us! We’ll tell you more about our process and what it’s like to work with us from planning until your photos are delivered.

About 4 - 6 weeks before your wedding, we’ll hop on a timeline call. We use this call to run through your day and make any needed changes to your timeline.

Before this call we’ll send your our questionnaire to get all of the details we need to keep your day organized. This means family names, wedding party details, locations and times for key events, a group photo list, and more!

Organization is key!

A planned wedding day is a smooth and fun wedding day! This is why we pride ourselves on being extremely organized. We send you a questionnaire 2 - 3 months before your wedding day. We’ll use the information on there to craft your photo timeline, family formal list, and learn more about the details of your day. We hop on a call and run through the day with you to make sure we have all of the information we need to keep your day running smoothly. Our timelines always include a little bit of buffer time in each section of the day, this way you don’t feel rushed!

The anticipation is over! When your wedding day arrives, we’ll both be there to capture every moment! This way you can focus on taking it all in with your friends and family.

We capture the day as it happens and we give you as much or as little direction as you need during your portrait session.

Worried about being awkward in front of the camera? It’s truly nothing to worry about! 99% of our couples say they are awkward in front of the camera. What they all have in common is, they don’t look awkward at all in their wedding photos!

After your wedding

Your wedding day is over, but our work doesn’t stop there! Within 1 - 2 weeks of your wedding we will send you a preview gallery. We include a little piece of each part of the day so you have something to look at before the rest of your gallery is ready.

We want your photos to look perfect, so we go through every single image we take choosing only the best photos for your gallery. After that we edit each individual image so the colors are consistent throughout your entire gallery. This process takes about 30 - 90 days depending on the time of year. If you're getting married in a less popular time of the year, you'll typically receive your photos earlier than you would for a Spring or Fall wedding.

All of your photos are delivered in an online gallery that is easily sharable with your friends and family. You can download all of them in High-Resolution or Web-Resolution, with no watermarks.
